Don’t take just his word for it. More than twenty, current and former, tech investors and executives have also contributed—from Apple, PayPal, Microsoft, Sony, Docusign, Adyen, Bill.com, Boku, Uber, Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures, Index Ventures, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and more.

Kurt Davis is an internationally recognized technology executive and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience working with tech startups in finance and business development roles between Silicon Valley and Asia. From 2008-2017, he worked at a startup called Boku where he was the first business hire and led global business development, closing deals with Apple, Microsoft, Spotify, and Sony —to name the notable ones. During his time, he lived in Japan (covering Asia), London, and San Francisco working on global partnerships and managing remote, worldwide teams. This hard-earned knowledge is the basis for this book.

In 2017, Kurt’s wanderlust struck, and he travelled through sub-Saharan Africa working with entrepreneurship centers and humanitarian nonprofits. While in Africa, Kurt designed a curriculum to teach entrepreneurs how to do what he did at Boku, selling to enterprises. That syllabus became the foundation of Navigate to the Lighthouse: A Silicon Valley Guide to Executing Global Deals. His first book, Finding Soul: From Silicon Valley to Africa, was born of that journey. For more from Kurt about travel, well-being, and entrepreneurship, visit KDAlive.com and www.sunriseventures.co
